Researching his inspiration shows that he is massively inspired by Buster Keaton.

A multi-faceted experience celebrating British creativity across the arts, ‘Metamorphosis: Titian 2012’ brings together a group of specially commissioned works responding to three of Titian’s paintings – Diana and Actaeon, The Death of Actaeon and the recently acquired Diana and Callisto – which depict stories from Ovid’s epic poem ‘Metamorphoses’. The three paintings, displayed at the heart of the exhibition, are seen together for the first time since the 18th century.

After wanting to do a music video I thought i should look at Chris Cunningham and found out that he use to work in prosthetic and makeups for films and one of his biggest piece so far.

Some exploration

From looking into A Rakes Progress music/bands I have found a band called The Rakes Progress

And an album called The Rakes Progress by Unterm Rad

From there i looked at Unterm Rad and found out that it means Beneath the Wheel which is german novel written by Hermann Hesse


I then looked at Unterm Rad Music and found a band called Silent Poem

Cage The Elephant - Come A Little Closer

I found this music video really interesting with the animated world around the band members. I found the video because i like their music and thought i would have a look at what they have been doing recently remembering that they did really interesting videos before.
I like how the band are chrome-keyed into madness and this gave me an idea of making HUGE funny props and chrome-key me with them into a video and make some sort of music video for A Rakes Progress.
